Sandpoint Weather |
|
 |
|
Sandpoint is blessed with a four season climate that is
considerably more moderate than what can be found
further east in the Rockies. There is neither
extremely hot or extremely cold weather. Usually there are only a few sub-zero days each winter, while summer has equally few days on which the temperature rises above 90 degrees. Nights are generally cool.
One of the greatest attractions of Sandpoint and North Idaho is the weather. In the summer we have a beautiful lake (Lake Pend Oreille,
complimented by many smaller lakes) to boat and fish on, while in the winter we can always expect a good snow pack for skiing at Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort. If you
are a fan of all four seasons, Sandpoint is a great destination to check out!
